– GCSE Science Workbooks available on ParentPay The Science department bought a revision guide for each pupil and issued these at the start of their Course. We feel it is beneficial to have them for the duration of the course, for the pupils to help them with homework and revision. We are now offering the parents the opportunity to buy a work booklet that accompanies the revision guide. This is optional and is only needed if the pupils want to use them for their own personal revision. Parents get them cheaper if they buy them through the school. This was a response to pupils requesting that they be able to get them.

What’s on

Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking two year 9 pupils Emma Wells and Joe Foster to an English event at Leeds Playhouse. There were pupils from schools all over the north of England. Both pupils were very polite, well mannered and extremely well behaved. They were both a credit to the school.
Mr I Punton,
I would just like to thank everyone involved in the open night we attended last night. Pupils were polite and helpful as were the staff! Our girls currently attend year 6 and 5 at Bill Quay Primary now cannot wait to get stuck in at Heworth Grange! Thanks again and see you all in the future(hopefully)

Just a short email to thank you for your assistance at the Year 5/6 Hi 5 Netball tournament and also for organising the young leaders to assist. They were fantastic; they were great with the children, and adapted well to the Hi 5 rules. All in all, they were a complete credit Heworth.

Thank you to everyone at Heworth Grange Comprehensive for supporting our Christmas Carol Singing. We raised £755.85 from this which is just fantastic and would not have been possible without your support.
Hannah Taylor, Marie Curie Cancer Care
I am writing to thank you very much indeed for your very kind and generous donation. I understand this kind donation was raised from a cake sale organised by a student and we would like to express our special thanks to her for nominating our humble shelter to receive this very welcome donation. We appreciate all the hard work she would have done in the event.
